“The Amazing Race” is a reality competition television series in which teams of two race around the world, completing challenges and tasks for a chance to win a grand prize. The 16th season of the show aired in 2010 and featured 11 teams competing for a $1 million prize.
To apply for “The Amazing Race 16,” teams had to submit an application form and a videotape of themselves. The application form asked for basic information about the team members, including their names, ages, occupations, and relationship to each other. The videotape had to be no more than three minutes long and had to show the team members interacting with each other and explaining why they wanted to be on the show.
