Spain emerged as the winner, defeating the Netherlands by a score of 10 in the final match at Soccer City in Johannesburg.
Tickets for the 2010 FIFA World Cup went on sale to the general public on 20 February 2009, and were available for purchase through the FIFA website and via authorised ticket agents. There were four different categories of tickets available, with prices ranging from $80 to $1000. The most expensive tickets were for the final match, while the cheapest tickets were for group stage matches. Fans who purchased tickets were also required to pay a handling fee, which varied depending on the method of purchase.
